ABOUT THE PANEL
Ms. Ila Kapoor: Ms. Ila Kapoor is a Dispute Resolution Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. Prior to joining SAM, she was an associate at a leading international law firm in New York. Her practice focuses on domestic and international arbitration related to complex commercial transactions. She regularly represents clients in arbitrations under different arbitration rules (ICSID, SIAC, ICC, AAA etc.) across diverse sectors. She specialises in energy/power, construction and corporate disputes, and also represents clients from sectors such as the hospitality and telecom. She has also published widely with some of her publications being featured in the Financial Express and the Global Arbitration Review.
Mr. Vyapak Desai: Vyapak Desai heads the International Dispute Resolution and Investigation Practice at Nishith Desai Associates. Vyapak’s vast experience in legislation includes representing clients as counsel in a host of complex cases including investment treaty arbitrations, commercial disputes related to shareholders agreements, international trade and across industries such as oil & gas, infrastructure, construction, private equity funds, and TMT.

Ms. Ananya Aggarwal: Ananya Aggarwal is currently a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. She is a member of the firm’s arbitration team and has successfully assisted in various high-stake arbitrations where the firm has represented foreign as well as Indian clients. Her practice focuses on domestic and international arbitrations, both ad-hoc and institutional. She specialises in disputes in the field of construction, hospitality, shareholder disputes, oil and gas amongst other commercial disputes. She also has several publications to her name.
Dr. Prasenjit Kundu (Assistant Professor of Law, RMLNLU, Lucknow) will be presiding over as the Programme Co-ordinator.
